A reflex game in your menu bar.
Topos is a 30-second break you can win. A mole pops up on a 3×3 grid and keeps jumping — click it before it hides. A whack-a-mole–style reflex game that lives one click away in your menu bar, and beats your best each round.

Thirty seconds, one mole, your reflexes.
Hit start and the clock runs for 30 seconds. A mole appears at a random hole on the 3×3 grid and hops to a new one by itself — your job is to catch it before it ducks back down. A time bar drains across the top so you always know how much of the round is left, and every hit bumps your score.
- A single mole that relocates on its own
- 30-second rounds with a live time bar
- Points climb with every hit
- Instant restart — go again the moment it ends
Pick a speed, chase a record — all offline.
Three difficulties change how fast the mole moves, from a warm-up pace to a blur. Each one keeps its own personal best, so a good run on Easy doesn’t hide what you can really do on Hard. It all runs on your machine — no account, no network, nothing leaves your computer.
- Easy, Medium and Hard change the mole’s speed
- A separate best score for each difficulty
- 100% offline — your record is stored locally

Questions, answered.
Do I have to download anything separately?
No. Topos is a widget in the Webstarted Toolbox catalog. Open the catalog tab (🧰) inside the app, hit the “+” next to Topos, and it installs in one click — no separate download, and no app update needed.
How does a round work?
A round lasts 30 seconds. A mole pops up at random on a 3×3 grid and jumps to a new hole on its own — click it before it hides. A time bar shows how much of the round is left, and your points climb with every hit.
Can I make it faster or slower?
Yes. There are three difficulties that change how quickly the mole moves, and each one keeps its own best score, so you can chase a record at your own pace.
Does it work offline?
Completely. Topos runs 100% on your machine — no account, no network, no data leaves your computer. Your best score is stored locally per difficulty.
