A Webstarted Toolbox widget · macOS & Windows

Every time zone your team lives in.

A world clock in your menu bar that shows several cities at once — so you know who’s awake before you ping them. Daylight saving is handled automatically from the IANA time-zone database: no offsets to set, no internet needed.

See the time across cities

Pick cities and compare. Daylight saving resolves itself, using your browser's own time-zone database.

100% local · no network, no account, no API

    Auto DSTIANA zones, not offsets
    Day / nightKnow who’s awake
    Works offlineNo connection needed
    How it works

See who’s awake before you write.

Add the cities your work actually touches and they line up together, each with its current local time and a sun or moon so you can tell in a second whether it’s a good moment to reach out. No more counting hours forward or opening a search just to schedule a call.

    • Several cities side by side, always current
    • A day/night hint on each city
    • Offset shown relative to your home city
    • One click from the menu bar — no account
    Automatic DST

    Daylight saving, handled for you.

Fixed offsets go stale twice a year. Because each city is tracked by its full IANA time zone, the clock knows when a place changes to summer or winter time and adjusts on its own — the hour stays right without you ever touching a setting. And since the zone data comes from your system, it all works offline.

    • Powered by the IANA time-zone database
    • Springs forward and falls back on its own
    • No manual offsets to maintain
    • Fully offline — reads your system’s zones

    FAQ

    Questions, answered.

Do I have to download anything separately?

No. World Clocks is a widget in the Webstarted Toolbox catalog. Open the catalog tab (🧰) inside the app, hit the “+” next to World Clocks, and it installs in one click — no separate download, and no app update needed.

Does daylight saving update on its own?

Yes. Each city is tracked by its IANA time zone, not a fixed offset, so when a place springs forward or falls back the clock follows automatically. You never edit a “+1” by hand or wonder whether a city has switched yet.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. It reads the time zones from your system, so it keeps showing the right local time for every city offline — on a plane, on the road, anywhere.

How many cities can I add?

Add the cities you actually work with and see them all at once, each with its local time and a day/night hint so you know at a glance who’s awake. It lives in your menu bar, one click away.
